Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) Seats:
Seats: 5 % of sanctioned intake per course.
Benefits to students: All other fees except tuition fees shall
be paid by the TFWS student.
Eligibility: Maharashtra State Candidates. Parent per year income less
than Rs.6.00 Lac.
No tuition fee for SC/ST category and for students get admission under TFWS scheme.
Educational Eligibility for admissions: Passed 12 exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50% marks for OPEN category students and for RESERVED category students 45% marks also for Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only)
Difficulty Level: For Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics similar to JEE Main. For Biology similar to NEET.
Marking Scheme: No negative marking system.
One mark for each correct answer from physics,
chemistry, biology subjects.
Two marks for each correct answer from
mathematics subject.

1. Physics: Measurements, Scalars & vectors, force, friction in solids and liquids, refraction of light, ray optics, magnetic effect of electric current, magnetism.
2. Chemistry: Some basic concepts of chemistry, state of matter (Gases and liquids), Redox reaction, surface chemistry, nature of chemical bond, hydrogen, s-block elements (alkali and alkaline earth metals), basic principles and techniques in organic chemistry, alkanes.
3. Mathematics: Trigonometric functions of compound angles, Factorization formulae, straight line, circle and conics, sets, relations and functions, probability, sequences and series.
4. Biology
Section I Botany: Diversity in organism,
Biochemistry of cell, plant water relations and mineral nutrition, plant growth
and development.
Section II Zoology: Organization of cell, animal
tissue, human nutrition, human respiration.
